Welcome! Stephanie serves all postpartum families in the Conroe, Woodlands, Magnolia, and Houston areas, in the comfort of your own home. I come to you!

As a postpartum doula, my goal and passion is to nurture the mother (or father), so that she may better nurture baby. You can’t pour from an empty cup. I believe that every Mama deserves much better than the standard care after birth, both physically and mentally.

I offer virtual postpartum support, in-person postpartum support, overnight support, as well as local resources, referrals, and newborn care education designed to help you thrive as a new parent. A key focus for me as a doula is meal planning and nutrition. Please explore my website, read a bit about me, and feel welcome to reach out with any questions you may have.

Why Glasswing?

The glasswing butterfly is known to be able to carry up to forty times its own weight. Just like the transformative symbolism that butterflies represent, the glasswing butterfly symbolizes the strength of a mother and new family. I cannot think of a time more transformative than birth and becoming a mother, I can’t think of a period in life where more strength and grace are required than those times where we are learning to mother while also healing ourselves.

Another reason for glasswing, is because this butterfly has glass like wings, transparent, two mirror images of each other. I hope to have full transparency with you. An open line of communication where you feel safe to ask questions, share, and celebrate through this season. I hope to model, teach, and encourage you in a way that you feel at ease.

Hi, I’m Stephanie! In 2017 I had my second child, and it couldn’t have been more different than the smooth, beautiful experience that I had the first time around

After experiencing a challenging pregnancy followed by a traumatic birth, I began to focus on healing. Through this time, I learned the importance of being supported, advocated for, and educated on informed decision making through pregnancy and the postpartum period. As I focused on healing, I naturally began learning so much about women’s wellness. This is when I realized my passion for helping other women and families through these seasons. I hope to nurture, encourage, and support you through the postpartum so that you may feel more confident in your routines and skills as a parent long after I’m finished working with you and your family. Let’s walk through this together. You are not alone!

Testimonials.

Where do I start?! Stephanie is THE best. She was my go-to person after I gave birth. I had a fourth-degree tear with many complications and additional surgeries as well as postpartum depression and anxiety. She LISTENED and always had a positive, cheerful attitude about next steps I could take. Her own experiences as a mother of two was invaluable — she KNEW exactly what to say and do to help me feel better. Stephanie made me feel heard and never judged me. She walked me through postpartum life and reassured me everything I was feeling was normal. She made me feel COMFORTABLE, even in the most uncomfortable of times, navigating life as a new mom. I can’t think of anyone else that has the heart, compassion and knowledge Stephanie does for working with new mothers. I would recommend her 10,000 times over!!
